ARD Technology was founded in 1997 in Warwick as Astragem Ltd, initially providing embedded software and data acquisition systems for aerospace testing and research programmes.
Through the 2000s, we expanded into operational software for airlines and airports — building on our deep understanding of aviation data systems and safety-critical engineering principles. In 2014 we rebranded as ARD Technology to better reflect our evolved focus on full-stack aviation intelligence platforms.
Today we're a team of 42 engineers, data scientists and aviation domain experts, serving 60+ clients across 14 countries. Our platforms process over 2 million aviation events per day.
We're not a generic tech company that happens to work in aviation. Every engineer on the team understands the operational, safety and regulatory context of the software they build.
Safety-critical thinking applied to every line of code. Comprehensive testing, code review, security audits and observability are non-negotiable — they're part of how we work.
We build long-term relationships, not one-off projects. 85% of our revenue comes from existing clients — a metric we're proud of and actively protect.
